Vintage Look for London Wedding

The Jaguar was in a very hot London this weekend. We picked up Bride Jane from Tuffnell Park for her wedding in nearby Islington, then drove the newlyweds to their reception at the Prince Albert in Camden. The couple chose not to have the car dressed in the usual ribbons which I think was a good choice for a wedding in town.

Pigeon Release in Chilton

Ben and Cherise booked our Jaguar MK2 for their wedding in Chinnor this weekend. Jaguar MK2's have a special place in Cherise's family as her Grandfather was a police traffic officer and drove MK2s in the 60's. After the wedding at St Andrew's Chinnor we drove the newlyweds to the Barn at Chilton. This venue is in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside with far reaching views and a terrace that is perfect to enjoy the view on a clear dry day. After pictures with the car the couple released a pair of pigeons who then flew back to their coup in Devon, their owner says the flight time would be around three hours. Quite impressive.

Oxford and Bucks Weddings

The Silver Grey Jaguar MK2 and Morse look-a-like MK2 were out this weekend. The Morse Jag was in Headington for Suzanne and Johnie's wedding at the Holy Trinity Church then at Eynsham Hall for the reception.

The other Jag was at Dinton in Buckinghamshire where Alex and Nick married at St Peter & St Paul Church. Their reception was held at Notley Abbey near Thame.

Photos From This Week's Weddings

The Jag was in Dry Sandford this weekend for Sophie and Charlie's wedding at St Helen's Church. The reception was held at Cold Harbour Barn, Ginge near Wantage, a lovely rural location.

Over in the Henley area Sarah and John Mark were married at St Mary's Wargrave. After a brief refreshment break on the green outside the church the Daimler took them to the Five Horseshoes in Maidensgrove for the reception.
