Natalie and Peter's Wedding

The Silver Grey Jag and White Daimler were on their last outing this Year for Natalie and Peter's wedding in Taplow. Their reception was held at Hedsor House, used frequently as a location for films and TV,  and after a couple of nights at nearby Cliveden House the couple honeymooned in the Maldives.

The cars start the new season in March.

The Jag and Daimler collected the bridal party from Hedsor...

Abingdon Surprise

An unusual one this week. Father of the Bride Sergey wanted to surprise his daughter with a special car to travel from the family home to St Nicolas' church in Abingdon. Instead of traveling in his BMW we drove Sergey and Daria to downtown Abingdon in our Silver Grey Jaguar MK2. The reception was a short walk away in the old County Hall but we waited for the ceremony so Daria and new husband Stuart could have photos with the car afterwards.

Back to Old Luxters

A Henley wedding this weekend. Charlotte and Andy tied the knot at St Mary's church in Henley, following the ceremony we were back to Old Luxters near Hambleden for the second week in a row. The newlyweds traveled in our Jaguar MK2 while their guest made the journey in a Routemaster bus and American style school bus. Apologies for the picture quality, the lens needed cleaning.

Hambleden Wedding

A local wedding this weekend in the pretty village of Hambleden. This village is frequently used as a movie set and is now the location where Francesca married Chris in the village church.
We drove Francesca and her father from the family home in Sonning Common while the sun shone on this lovely late summer day. After the ceremony and photos it was a chilled glass of champagne and a drive to Old Luxters where the reception was held.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Pond Wedding

Despite three weddings this weekend it wasn't very good for photo opportunities. We did however get a nice snap of Imogen and Rory at the pond in Russells Water where CCBB was filmed. Imogen's father was a child extra in the film and the location of their reception, the Five Horse Shoes in Maidensgrove, was close by. They were married at Henley Register Office.

The couple also booked an Austin VDP limo for the bridesmaids and Dan booked a self drive E-Type for a couple of days to celebrate the occasion. The ceremony was held on an old Oxford college barge which is moored in the hotel grounds. The two Jags looked very smart parked next to the barge. After refreshments at the hotel Dan drove his wife to their reception at the Fishes North Hinksley.

VW Camper Van in Abingdon and 3 Jags and 2 Routemasters in Chorleywood

This week's weddings started on Friday when Megan and Jack were wed at St Michael's and All Angels Church in a very pretty part of Abingdon. After photos in Albert Park which was opposite the church we drove them back to Milton Hill House Hotel near Didcot. They booked the Daimler as the Bridal car while the Bridesmaids traveled in a very smart VW bay window camper van.

On Saturday our Jaguar and Daimler were joined by a white Jaguar MK2 3.4 to complete the fleet to transport Bride Sophie, Groom Michael and the other members of the Bridal party from the family home in Chorleywood to Our Lady Help of Christians church in Rickmansworth. After the ceremony it was back to the house where the reception was held in the gardens while Molly the dog looked on. Perfect weather for it too.
